Birgham Haugh is a development of five new residential properties in the small Berwickshire village of Birgham being constructed by Ristol Hirsel – a Joint Venture between the Hirsel Estate and Ristol. Birgham is approximately 5 miles to the north east of Kelso, and 4 miles to the west of Coldstream.

With fine views to the River Tweed and the Cheviots beyond, the properties are located on the eastern edge of the village and comprise of two steading conversions, and three detached houses. Designed around a central courtyard, each house offers a high level of privacy and individuality.

Ristol Hirsel specialise in creating contemporary country homes from traditional materials to reflect the heritage of each site. Birgham Haugh will be no exception, where the aim is to deliver a unique scheme to create a positive long-term legacy of a well designed, well built, sustainable “cluster” of five contemporary, yet traditional, homes.
